I finally got up the nerve to head over to my counselor's office today to get next year's schedule sorted out. But not before having a hefty conversation with my art teacher. I'm currently in Drawing & Painting and I asked her what class I should take next year. She already knew about my stupid math situation and she told me that I should drop it in favor of an art class. Technically, I'm behind in my art classes and I need to catch up if I ever want to get into Senior Seminar and make my portfolio. She recommended Advanced Drawing and Advanced Painting, so that I'd have those out of the way by my senior year.

So, lalala, I toddle down to the office and visit him. And wouldn't ya know it? He doesn't want me to drop algebra. First of all, I'm currently signed up for both intermediate algebra and math with financial applications next year. My math teacher recommended me for financial aps because I totally and completely BLOW at algebra and I know I'm going to fail it. At least with financial aps, I'd be getting my final math credit in an easy course. But damn if my counselor isn't the biggest math-whore around. He's dead set on me taking algebra too, all so I don't have to do some stupid crap with tests and stuff in college. Blah blah blah.

Short story is, I hate math and I want my two art classes. I was able to drop lunch to take Advanced Drawing but I still want mah painting class. I need it!
I'm desperately trying to convince my mom to call him and get me into painting but if she doesn't, I'm not too proud to beg my art teacher and math teacher, too. XD

Anyone who knows me knows math is not my forte. It's the only class that I have permission from my parents to fail.

TL;DR I WANT ART CLASS NAO!

In other news, my 16th birthday is TOMORROW! I'm so super ultra mega excited.

Too bad I have to go to school.

Man, school may almost be over, but it's become the biggest rain cloud over my life. I worry about school work all day, then I get home and worry about my school work for the next day.

Summer break will certainly be a pleasure.
